If these hours absolutely do not work for you, please contact as I may be able to accommodate your schedule.

I do not accept online payments through my website. Lessons are paid for at the end of the month (ideally within one week after the end of the month) via e-transfer to mind-on-music@outlook.com. An invoice is provided each month.

I offer 30 minutes, 45 min., or 1hr weekly, bi-weekly or monthly lessons. Lessons are charged per lesson.

Lessons are currently offered online, at my apartment or in your home. Depending on the location within the Greater Sudbury Area, a travel fee may be applied for in-person lessons that are more than a 15 minute drive from my location. If you are interested in coming to my apartment for lessons, please contact me for the address (because I do not provide my home address online).

Online lessons can be taken over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Zoom is preferred as it has specific audio settings for music lessons.

Students will receive lesson notes sent by email each week. These lesson notes will indicate what the student should focus on throughout the week. Theory homework can also be sent by email and will be marked and returned before the next lesson.

Students will also receive a Sproutbeat account, which is included in the lesson price. Sproutbeat is a music theory platform that offers worksheets and games. Activities will be posted each week for students to enjoy.

Students/Guardians are asked to cancel lessons and request a rescheduled lesson at least 24 hours in advance, except in the case of emergency or last-minute illness. Students may be charged a cancellation fee (half of the lesson price) if they cancel more than one lesson a month (if they are not able to reschedule within my makeup lesson availabilities). I rarely (never actually have) charge students for missed lessons as I just prefer to reschedule since life is unexpected and sometimes things happen beyond our control.
